UDEEEWANA’s SHORT, MID and LONG TERM ACTION PLANS

U.D.E.E.E.W.A.N.A which stands for (United Distance Education for Eastern Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa) is a new distance education association. Here is a brief description about UDEEEWANA.

UDEEEWANA has been established as a new distance education association for the region of Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Baltics, Turkic Republics, Caucasians, Middle East, Arab Peninsula and North Africa which include the countries like, Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Georgia, Jordan, Hungary, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, Norway, Oman, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and so on.

UDEEEWANA has Short, Mid And Long Term Action Plans for to organizing its well running in due course. This action plans which have indicated here, declared by the UDEEEWANA Steering Committee in December 2014. This terms are consist of short, mid and long Term periods and can be define to include an action plans as explained belove.

SHORT TERM ACTION PLANS

Short Term Action Plans concept is mentioned for processing the years 2015-2016 for UDEEEWANA which are need to be conducted urgent actions in application for UDEEEWANA running for the years of mentioned above. (Definition of running year covers between official working days of the year by starting since 1st day of January and ends 31st December for every year).

At the beginning, As UDEEEWANA’s Short Term Action decided to conduct an official periodical publication eJournal of UDEEEWANA. This eJournal already in English, peer reviewed, quarterly (January, April, July and October), international eJournal on distance education and its related fields, This eJournal is should be cover mostly targeting researchers, authors and readers from the contain of the UDEEEWANA map countries, It is entitled as “GLOKALde”(GLOKALde created by combining and mixing of GLOBAL and LOKAL words fo covering these two world of the human being) and addressed as http://www.glokalde.com at 1st January, 2015. GLOKALde is on the net now. Next issu will appeat on April 2015.

Secondly, UDEEEWANA planned as Short Term Action to realize “UDEEEWANA Education Forum‘15” in due course around June 2015 or early Autumn 2015, in Turkey, Eskisehir or Brusell, Belgium or Batumi, Georgia, by inviting 1 or 2 delegates from the UDEEEWANA Map countries.

Than thirdly, UDEEEWANA plans a short term action to realize on “1st International UDEEEWANA World Conference around May 2016 where one of mentioned city od at any suggested country.

Another a short term action plan is containing to establish a UDEEEWANA Regional Offices mentioned for processing the years of 2015-2016, around UDEEEWANA Map Countries by estimating their local, geographic, cultural interaction, languages etc. Already, it seen possible to establish nearly 10 or 11 UDEEEWANA Regional Offices according to geographical settlements of the countries around UDEEEWANA’s map. These Regional Offices will run independently in their domestic or regional activities as parallel with the head office strategic planning.

Now it is time for the years of 2015-2016 short term action plan to create and organize Regional Offices of UDEEEWANA for certain regions as being an emergency, short term activity. These regional offices should be established by taking some different values od the countries and societies which lie next to each other geographically and are similar culturally. For example:

BALKANS
Balkans Regional Office should cover the countries such as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia.

EASTERN EUROPE
Eastern Europe Regional Office should cover the countries such as Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus and Turkey.

SCANDINAVIA
Scandavian Regional Office should cover the countries such as Finland, Norway and Sweden.

BALTICS
Baltics Regional Office should cover the countries such as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

CAUCASUSIAN
Caucasusian Regional Office should cover the countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia.

CENTRAL ASIA
Central Asia Regional Office should cover the countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

RUSSIA
Russian Regional Office should cover the countries of Federal Russia as Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, North Ossetia-Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachai-Cherkessia and Adygea.

MIDDLE EAST
Middle East Regional Office should cover the countries such as Cyprus, Iran, Iraqi, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, North Turkish Cyprus Republic, Palestine and Syria.

ARAB PENINSULA
Arap Peninsula Regional Office should cover the countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Yemen.

NORTHERN AFRICA
Northern Africa Regional Office should cover the countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.

Of course it can be add or cross out some countries whenever this list is updated in due course. Now, Selected or promoted a right person(s) who will be responsible to create regional offices by coordinating with UDEEEWANA presidentship home office, as soon as possible. Establishing regional offices should be an important discussing item of “UDEEEWANA Education Forum‘15” with the all suggestions, any feedbacks at any time to find a right way and the best situation will evaluated for the do UDEEEWANA’s best.

As a last but not least, these short term action plan during create and organizing other international affairs develop with the other associations, announcements of the activates and should start to conduct some small size domestic, regional, local joined projects. MID TERM ACTION PLANS

Mid Term Action Plans concept is mentioned for processing the years 2015-2020 for UDEEEWANA which are need to be more developed and expanded actions must be put in practice for UDEEEWANA map countries running for the years of mentioned as 2015-2020. Some activities developed and run I horizontal layer and a new relationship must be developed and applied with other educational NGOs and associations in practice too. Project and surveys must conduct, present, discuses in local and global size. Membership and departmental organizing realize system must well organize. New conferences, publications publish and distribution must organize. Shortly, in this term actions are should develop and put in live practice based on what UDEEEWANA Constitution says in it. Again according to UDEEEWANA Constitution an annual meeting must realize. Elections must realize, etc. etc.

LONG TERM ACTION PLANS

Long Term Action Plans concept is mentioned for processing the years 2015-2025 for UDEEEWANA which are need to be more developed and expanded ideal actions should put in practice for UDEEEWANA map countries. Long Term Action Plans concept should cover establishing at any level state or private distance education institutions from primary to PhD level education opportunity. Overseas educational education opportunities should be create in mega size and to be in run around the world.

UDEEEWANA Publishing House should establish and be functional in the UDEEEWANA map countries and should work world wide size in many language belongs to need of demands of the institutions around the world.

Special technical teams should be created for following new developed technologies and develop role models for adopting these technologies for to meet the demands of UDEEEWANA members or institutions in education and educational technology areas under the UDEEEWANA Perfection Centers creation for the long term applications etc.
